Change Username

Usernames cannot be changed. Unfortunately, the cryptographic architecture of Cyph makes this more complicated than simply modifying a string in a database. The best alternative we can recommend at this time is creating a second account and editing the profile of your original account to direct people to the new one.

However, for the future, we're planning to support an "alias" feature that will allow managing multiple identities/usernames from one account.
